Interstellar combines my two passions: micro brewery beers and the power of the Zodiac. The idea came to me one day when I was thinking about my values. I am the first Australian to be accepted into the Founder’s Program, but I’m also a mother of two who is used to doing ten things at once! I’m proud of being an entrepreneur and living life to the fullest, but I also know the importance of slowing down and appreciating life. I wanted to create a beverage that reflects the journey we are all on: to be true to ourselves, embrace our flaws, empower our strengths, and celebrate ourselves.

Using horoscopes is the core of Interstellar. Everyone has a horoscope sign, and everyone is unique. Horoscopes celebrate each person without judgement, by highlighting our strengths and weaknesses in a way that affirms life. Fun is at the heart of the Interstellar concept, which is why all our beverages represent the 12 zodiac signs. Pick your sign and celebrate what makes you special.

After NASA’s discovery of a new constellation earlier this year, a NASA blog post stated that there are now actually 13 Zodiac signs, not 12 - thus putting the entire astrological chart out of whack. The 13th Zodiac sign is called Ophiuchus and it’s the star sign for people born between November 29 and December 17. That, of course, has a knock-on effect for every other sign, meaning the traits and personalities associated with your previous star sign may no longer be applicable to you. Not to worry, we will address this and introduce an Ophiuchus beverage soon!

We are starting the brand off with beer, but we are currently working with bespoke gin distilleries to some exciting gins. Watch this space.
